Hello!

Time really flies in the blink of an eye.

Looking back, I feel like I didn’t do much, but at the same time, I also feel like I was doing a lot! June felt like one of those months where most of my time was spent doing behind-the-scenes work. Things that people don’t really see, but every little step was preparing for something ahead.

Behind the Scene

This month, I took a few days off to prepare for my upcoming art booth. There were prints to collect, errands to run, planning to do, and many small details to settle.

It’s been close to 10 years since my last art booth, and so many things have changed since then. In some ways, I felt anxious because I wasn’t sure what to expect. At the same time, I reminded myself to enjoy the process instead of focusing too much on the outcome.

I also met up with friends to try out different art mediums together. It was nice spending time creating without any pressure, simply enjoying the gathering and the process of making art together. Moments like these remind me why I enjoy creating in the first place.

A New Challenge

This month, I also challenged myself to participate in a 10km run.

I’m honestly not someone who enjoys running. Back in school, the furthest I ever had to run was the 2.4km fitness test, so signing up for a 10km run was quite a big challenge for me.

It started off alright, but as expected, it became more challenging as the distance added up. There were definitely moments where I questioned myself, but I kept going one step at a time.

Crossing the finish line felt really satisfying. Looking back, I’m glad I decided to challenge myself. I didn’t expect to enjoy running after this, but it reminded me that sometimes we’re capable of more than we think when we’re willing to give it a try.

What's Next

The art fair has finally taken place, and I can’t wait to share more about the experience in my next blog post. it's actually pretty tiring to booth after such a long while especially it's been 10 years!

There were many memorable moments, valuable lessons, and observations that I would love to document. I’m looking forward to sharing more about the fair, what I learnt, and where I hope to take my little brand next.

Meanwhile, take care and stay safe! ✨
